Meet a former athlete whose journey through post-partum depression led to a midlife career change that’s alive with both prosperity and fulfillment.
Hear how she learned to follow her heart and intuition, against all the external and internal messages about what’s important. And how a scary vulnerability was an important doorway to her reinvention – to making a great living just being “who she is.”
This episode features Sara Speicher, an entrepreneur, who had the courage to follow her heart when faced with the voice in her head to the contrary. It was her willingness to be vulnerable, ask for support and take the time to discover exactly who she is that opened doors to her success and happiness.

Sara arrived in the USA – 4,000 miles from a small town in Europe, barely speaking English – after receiving a basketball scholarship. The first in her family to graduate from college and graduate school. The loss of her job coinciding with her first pregnancy led to her becoming an entrepreneur. Though she experienced financial success and served her clients, she wasn’t satisfied.
Having the courage to be vulnerable, when in the throes of post-partum depression, and listen to her heart to let go of the “shoulds” that had influenced her in the past, today she is thriving. She supports and guides women as a Success Strategist in creating their entrepreneurial dreams, with time for her family doing work she is passionate about that allows her to be exactly who she is.

Sara’s Gem of Wisdom:
“Trust your intuition. It’s not just feeling if something is good or bad in the decision making process, but also when you are talking with someone else and you feel there’s more to the story than they are telling you. If you really want to thrive in life and business, you have to be able to be yourself.”
